BLACKPINK'S MEMBER LISA, TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

On November 24, 2021 the member of the well-known K-Pop group Blackpink, Lalisa Manobal, known as Lisa, has tested positive for COVID-19, the YG Entertainment’s announced.

The three other members of the said group – Jennie, Jisoo and Rose are still waiting for their test results. As per the statement of the other three members after Lisa was diagnosed with COVID-19, they took the RT-PCR test. However, Jennie, Jisoo and Rose were not ‘classified as close contacts’.

The Korean music and culture website, Soompi quoted YG Entertainment’s statement. "We first shared this information quickly and accurately with representatives and staff, and we took strong pre-emptive measures even beyond the guidelines of health authorities. We will continue to not hold back on providing full support with the health of our artists and related staff members as the top priority. If there are any changes in the future, we will once again notify you quickly."

Earlier this month, Lisa was awarded as the new K-pop female solo artist record by charting on Billboard’s main singles charts, the Hot 100, with the side track of her solo album “Money”.
