The Philippines received an additional 1,017,900 doses of a Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine purchased by the government on Thursday.
The latest batch of vaccine doses arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 past 8 p.m., according to the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19.
According to Assistant Secretary Wilben Mayor, leader of the National Task Force Against COVID-19's strategic communications on current activities, more than 139 million doses of vaccinations had arrived in the country.
“Sa ngayon po ang mga fully vaccinated na natin is almost 34.5 million at naka-first dose po eh 43.8 million individuals,” he said.
